Volunteer – Join a Team

Join a team

One of the best ways to meet people, serve the church and put down roots at Nant Coch is by joining a team!

We're always looking for people to join our different teams to make our activities happen.

Click any of the images on the right to find out more and to sign up and help. Training and instructions will be provided.

Website Development Notes
Volunteer – Join a Team Page

The idea on this page is for people to see the different ways they might contribute to the running of the church. If they click on an activity, a popup appears outlining the ways they might contribute, and there is also a button which takes them to a volunteer form to complete.

It would be really helpful if those who are responsible for the various activities could confirm that I have got things right in terms of the ways of helping. If not, please suggest suitable wording for the popup.

Join the Holiday Club team

There are many ways in which you can help out at this summer's Holiday Club.
We have a dedicated page and form for Holiday Club volunteers which you can access by clicking the button below.

Help out with our Sunday services

Currently, we rely on YouTube recordings for our singing in church. We would love to have  a keyboard player and/or some gifted musicians to lead our worship. If you can play the keyboard or another musical instrument, please consider helping out.

Join the Babies & Toddlers team

We could always do with more help at our weekly Babies & Toddlers sessions – helping with refreshments, putting the toys away at the end of the sessions, chatting with mums, dads and grandparents and keeping a watchful eye of the children as they play.

Join a Bible Study group

The best way to help out with a Bible Study group is to come along as a participant. If you would like to join a Bible Study group, click the button below and sign up.

Join the Cornerstone team

The best way you can support the Cornerstone team is by coming along as a participant and engaging in the craft activities and discussion.

Join the Community Event team

There are plenty of ways to help out at the Community Event: setting up beforehand, serving drinks and food to our guests, helping in the kitchen, clearing up afterwards. If you would like to help out at the Community Event, click the button below.

Join the children's activities team

Our children's activities normally take place on a Friday evening. Helpers are required to set up activities before the sessions start, to supervise and interact with the children, to prepare and dispense refreshments and to clear up afterwards.
If you would like to support our children's activities, please click the button below.

Join the young people's activities team

Our activities for secondary-school-aged youth normally take place on a Friday evening. Helpers are required to set up activities before the sessions start, to supervise and interact with the young people, to prepare and dispense refreshments and to clear up afterwards.

Join the Sunday Club team

We welcome adults and junior leaders who would like to help out with running our Sunday Club for children under the age of 14 during the morning service on Sundays. You would be working under the guidance of the Sunday Club leader.

Join the catering team

Our kitchen is used on many occasions to prepare: refreshments after our Sunday services; tea/coffee and lunch for our community event on Thursdays; refreshments for our children and young people's activities; and the occasional church lunch.
If you would like to join the catering team, please click the button below.

Join the maintenance team

There are always minor maintenance jobs and gardening work in the church grounds that need doing. If you are handy with DIY, have trade expertise or enjoy working in the garden and would like to help out on an ad hoc basis, please click the link below to register your interest in helping.
