Our connection with Kharaa Eye Clinic dates back to 2004?? when Richard and Stephanie Young went out as missionaries to Mongolia with their two young children, Jessica and Matthew. Richard is a trained optometrist and he set up an eye clinic in Ulaan Bataar with a Mongolian Christian couple.
They remained in Mongolia for 9 years before returning to Newport and the fellowship at Nant Coch.
Richard has been back to Mongolia a few times since then to provide further support. 
Since they have been back in the UK, we have had an annual special collection for the eye clinic.
