Our elders are the spiritual leaders of the church, responsible for teaching, pastoral care, prayer, discipleship, and setting the spiritual direction of the congregation. Their authority comes from church governance and Scripture, not from charity law.
Graham has been a member of Nant Coch since moving to Newport to take up the headship of Rougemont School in 1991. He became an elder in 2001. He is married to Cecilia and they have four grown-up children.

Wesley grew up in Nant Coch as a child. He has been an elder since 2019.

Edmund has been a member of Nant Coch since moving to Newport to take up a job at the patent office in 1989. He became an elder in 2023.

In addition to the elders, our leadership team comprises those members of our congregation who have responsibility for running specific activities within the church.
Mark looks after everything audio-visual.

Adrian recently relinquished responsibility for church maintenance. He is the church's registrar for weddings and is on the finance team.

John was an elder for 30+? years. He leads one of the pastoral groups, leads services and preaches. He is a trustee and a member of the finance team

Cecilia is responsible for co-ordinating all of the children and young people's work and for producing the diary each month.

Our trustees are the people legally responsible for the church as a charity — its finances, safeguarding, buildings, employment, compliance, and risk. Their authority comes from UK charity law, not from spiritual leadership.
